Wedding gifts: personalized Gin bottles

It is very common to prepare nice little wedding gifts or wedding give aways. In some European countries it is tradition to say thank you to all your wedding guests that came and made your day so fantastic with their presence.

In Italy and France for example it is used since ages to present little white coated almonds in a cute wedding bag. Grazie and merci that you have been with us on such a special day.

In South Africa wedding couples often use small items from townships as give away. So this is also something to remember Africa when you are back home.

Let me tell you about a very special Gin that is artisanal made in Mosselbay. In handmade ceramic bottles. The story behind this is, that during Covid lots of people had no work. And no work means no income, so families had a very hard time then. The founder of Cape Saint Blaze Gin then thought, we can produce the bottles with our own hands, just using some clay. And so it all started. Still today there is no mass production, but all bottles are crafted by hand. And that allows also to have individual bottles or etiquettes made. It makes an ideal gift to hand out as a thank you at the end of your wedding. Mainly the labels can be personalized: have your wedding date on it, your names or a cute wedding poem.

And yes, Gin is so trendy here at the southern end of Africa. And africans are so good in making wonderful Gins. Think about it and you have the best wedding gift ever seen on the planet.
